However, the extent of natural lighting entry can be managed by selecting any of the 3 types of sewing methods. They are often stitched without lining for partial entry of sunlight or with satin lining for blocking sunlight to 75% extent or with blackout lining that can block the sunlight completely.
Night curtains are often paired with day curtains that add beauty to the home as they provided optimum privacy and light control. They are made with heavier fabrics to block out light and absorb sound.
Night Curtains can be designed in three distinct categories
a) Normal:
Designed with a single layer of opaque fabric, normal night curtains blocks out 50% of the sunlight and offers full privacy when drawn.
b) Satin lining:
They are categorized as dim off curtains. Designed with double layers with a satin fabric behind the main layer opaque fabric blocks out 70% of sunlight. They are more affordable and require lesser maintenance.
c) Blackout Lining:
Blackout curtains blocks 90% of sunlight and create complete darkness. They are highly recommended for bedrooms, home theatre rooms where we need complete darkness. They are designed with double layers with a blackout lining matching your main fabric colour stitched behind your opaque fabric.
